Congratulations to ONL U11 Boys - Silver Medallists at Hoopdome!

This added to a silver earned at the Chris Paulin Memorial Tournament (Major Atom division) and a Gold at the Gr. 5 Don Goult Memorial Tournament in Ogdensburg, NY.

Through regular season EOBL they have faced a range of local competitors, all the while further developing as a team.  The boys work hard and support each other each time they hit the court - whether for a game or a practice.  Players, coaches and families alike are proud of this group of boys.

Their Hoopdome experience started off with some game wins with large point differentials, but as the weekend went on the games brought more pressure.  Going into the Gold medal game they were undefeated.  Their opponent - the Burlington Force - had only 1 loss during the tournamnet - and it was to ONL, so they came in fighting hard.  The high-pressure game was close from start to finish, but in the end ONL lost by 3 in overtime.  A hard fought battle, with lots to be proud of.  The boys look forward to the rest of the season.
