Our ONL U19 Serresse-Wilson team competed in Division 1 of the Ontario Cup at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario this past weekend. The team battled hard and ended the tournament ranked 6th in Ontario.

U19 Serresse-Wilson had a dominant OBA regular season, winning Silver at Chris Paulin Tournament and Etobicoke Thunder Jam, and Gold at the Etobicoke Thunder Ballin for Breast Cancer Tournament, Mississauga Monarchs Ball4Marky Tournament, and ONL Capital Classic. Their final OBA record heading into provincials was 19-4, which was good for 3rd in the province.

The team featured 4 graduating players, including McGill commit Regan Lynch (All Saints CHS alum), 5th year guards Ameer El-Badry and Jason Madamu, and Ottawa High School All-Star Game MVP Ali Sow. Head Coach Justin Serresse also coached his final tournament with ONL, as earlier this month, he was hired as the Head Coach of the Laurier University Golden Hawks (CIS).
