KYBA Registration at Record Levels!

KYBA is so excited to see so many youth from our community enjoying basketball this season!  From ages 5 to 19 we have seen an increase in the number of youth playing with us this season, with over 1000 registered!!

All of our house leagues are now running, with league games having started this month.  There isn't a school in Kanata you won't find one of our house league teams practicing and on Saturday's it's game time at multiple gyms accross Kanata!  We are so grateful to the 4 local school boards for supporting our programs and providing us permits to share the great game of basketball with the  youth of the region.

Most house league divisions have now formed their house league Selects rosters and those teams are starting to venture out to some OBL-E games and exhibition games against teams from other local basketball associations.  These players still enjoy development and game time with their house league teams, but are happy to get in some additional development time to advance their game and compete outside their club.

In the mix this season is 19 Ottawa Next Level competitive teams, from U10-U19.  The season for these players is underway as they enjoy playing league games in OBL-E and travel to other regions of Ontario begins for OBA sanctionned tournament play.  Our U13-U16 boys are enjoying the ONL Academy development time with national coach and KYBA Technical Director, Coach Dave DeAveiro.
