KYBA Announces ONL Summer Camp!!

Kanata Youth Basketball Association is pleased to announce our first ever summer basketball day camp during the week of July 23 to July 27.

Kanata Youth Basketball Association is pleased to announce our first ever summer basketball day camp during the week of July 23 to July 27. Jeff Wilson is the KYBA President and notes how KYBA's offering continues to evolve. "We're excited to add a summer day camp to our list of youth basketball programs", says Jeff. "At the end of the regular season, we receive a lot of questions from parents looking for recommendations for summer camps. KYBA promotes many good camps across Ottawa, but now we will also offer another west-end option that KYBA families will find convenient."

The ONL Summer Basketball Camp is for boys and girls who played at the Novice, Atom, or Bantam level during the 2017-18 season. Derek Bazil, KYBA Vice President of House League Boys, says, "Many players take up another sport during the summer. For example, my son plays soccer twice a week in the evening. A day camp gives him a chance to play some basketball without interfering with his soccer schedule." The ONL Summer Basketball Camp will be open to both House League players trying to take their game to the next level, and competitive players looking to enhance their skills. The camp goal is to continue to develop the players' skills, along with their love for the game.
