As previously announced, KYBA is offering a week-long summer day camp during the week of July 23-27. The location of the camp is now confirmed > Kanata Highlands Public School, 425 Terry Fox Drive, Kanata. “We are thrilled to get Kanata Highlands for the ONL Summer Camp”, says Owen Kelk, KYBA’s Director of Facilities. “Kanata Highlands is a beautiful new school with an amazing, full-size wood court gym. We thank the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board for allowing us to use this great facility.”
KYBA also confirmed Andrew DiMillo will be the Camp Director.  Coach DiMillo coaches the Ottawa Next Level U19 Men’s team, one of the most respected U19 basketball programs in the province.  In 2016-17, Coach DiMillo’s ONL U19 team won the Division 1 gold medal in the Ontario Cup tournament, which represents the top position in the Ontario Basketball Association, from teams across all of Ontario.

Says Coach Andrew, “Over the past few years we have seen the popularity of basketball continue to grow in Canada, and more specifically in Ottawa with the success of programs such as Carleton, uOttawa, Canada Topflight, etc. The demand for summer day camp options is certainly there, and the thirst of young ballers to be the next Andrew Wiggins or Jamal Murray is on the rise. We are pleased to be able to help kids realize their potential and get closer to the next level."

The ONL Summer Basketball Camp is for boys and girls who played at the Novice, Atom, or Bantam level during the 2017-18 season.  The camp will be open to both House League players trying to take their game to the next level, and competitive players looking to enhance their skills.  The camp goal is to continue to develop the players' skills, along with their love for the game.
